The Sub-Surface Drainage (SSD) system has been in use since the mid-20th century and gained widespread acceptance in the 1990s.

The unique corrugated profile of the pipe provides excellent flexibility while maintaining stiffness. This allows the pipes to withstand heavy earth loads without any adverse effects.

The recommended depth for agriculture application is 1.2 meters. However, in areas not subjected to vehicular loading, a depth of 0.3 meters is sufficient.

The material used for the product is polyester fiber with a minimum thickness of 2.5 mm. The weight of the material is at least 250 gsm.

The water inlet area for the product is within the range of 18-80 square centimeters per meter, as per the specifications of IS 9271:2004.

The Life of GEOREX Pipe & Filter (Geotextile) Is Between 50-100 Years.
