Choosing the Right SWR Pipe Fittings: A Compatibility Guidelines
When it comes to installing a SWR (Soil, Waste and Rainwater) drainage system, choosing the right SWR pipes and SWR fittings is crucial. The SWR drainage system is designed to efficiently remove waste without blockage and leakages. Therefore, it’s important to ensure that the SWR pipes and SWR fittings are compatible and of high quality.
Here comes Astral Drainmaster, a superior SWR drainage system that stands out in the market. Manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment and virgin raw materials, the Astral Drainmaster offers a range of advantages over conventional SWR drainage systems. From its high flow rates to easy installations, this system has become a preferred choice among architects, builders and plumbing contractors.
What is the SWR Drainage System?
The SWR drainage system refers to a system designed for effective and efficient removal of waste, soil and rainwater from buildings and infrastructure projects. It consists of SWR pipes and SWR fittings specifically designed for this purpose. SWR pipes are resistant to scale formation, rusting, weathering and chemical action, ensuring long-lasting performance. Additionally, SWR fittings are used to connect and direct the flow of waste, soil and rainwater in the drainage system. These fittings are designed to provide leak-proof joints and high flow rates to prevent blockages and ensure smooth drainage
When selecting SWR pipes and fittings, it is important to consider not only the compatibility with the pipes but also the quality, durability and reliability of the system. Astral Drainmaster offers a wide range of sizes and types of pipes and SWR fittings, making it easier to find the right combination for your specific needs. It is available in various ranges, from 75mm to 160mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether it is in houses, offices, hotels, commercial complexes or even airports and stadiums, this system ensures effective waste discharge, ventilation and rainwater management.
Astral Drainmaster: A Superior SWR Drainage System
The system comprises both SWR pipes and SWR fittings and it is crucial to choose the right ones for your specific requirements. Astral Drainmaster offers two types of pipes — Ringfit Pipes and Selfit Pipes, each recommended for different applications.
- Ringfit Pipes come in two different classes – “Type A” and “Type B.” Type A pipes are typically used for ventilation and rainwater applications, while Type B pipes are suitable for soil and waste discharge. These ISI-marked pipes are available in various sizes, including 7.5cm, 9.0cm, 11.0cm and 16.0cm, with both single and double socket options.
- On the other hand, Selfit Pipes are socketed on automatic socketing machines with a self-socket length. These pipes are joined using solvent cement. They have one end plain and the other self-socketed, ensuring a permanent watertight joint. Similar to Ringfit Pipes, Selfit Pipes are available in various sizes to meet different requirements.
To ensure compatibility with the Astral Drainmaster pipes, the SWR fittings are also available in a grooved ring type and pasting type.
- The grooved ring-type fittings are self-socketed with grooves to hold the yellow co-moulded rubber ring. These fittings are made using highly accurate online socketing machines, guaranteeing the highest quality and performance.
- Pasting-type fittings are self-socketed on highly automated machines and are joined using solvent cement. Both types of fittings are designed to be fully compatible with Astral Drainmaster Pipes, providing a reliable and efficient SWR drainage system.
